Petrit Gora was born in 1990 in the capital city of Kosovo, Pristina. He studied Graphic Design in the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Pristina. Raised in the city of Peja, in 2010 he joined Anibar as a volunteer, mostly by helping with the logistics of the festival and around Cinema “Jusuf Gervalla”. In 2014 he became one of the film selectors and programmers of Anibar. Later, in 2016, he was named as the Art Director of Anibar and led the festival artistically for six years as he continues to do so. Besides the festival, Petrit led many stop motion workshops, lectures and presentations. He gave the first lessons at the Anibar Animation Academy, which now has developed and is preparing the fourth generation of young animators in Kosovo. Petrit was also a mural painter and a political graffiti artist. Currently he lives in Kalmar, Sweden.
