Friday: Where to?

Friday at Animafest will be a lot about video games: the game design workshop that began on Monday at FER ends today. Ante Vrdelja, Lovro Nola and Davor Hunski, on behalf of CGDA, Croteam developing team and Machina, will give a speech at 3.30pm at Tuškanac on interactive animation.

The film programme includes two interesting blocks at Tuškanac: one in the Alice in Wonderland section, a combination of short films by the name of Creature – Careful not to  Meet Them, Alice!, and the other is Cinema for the Ear, consisting of interesting music videos. Friday is also the day when Europa at 5.30pm screens Rocks in My Pockets, a feature film by the master of animation Signe Baumane, and Unknown Energies, Unidentified Feelings by Dalibor Barić and Tomislav Babić.

Also, short films are scheduled for 8pm at Europa: Cat Meets Dog by Paul Driessen, Levitation by Marko Meštrović, Small Garden by Shunsuke Saito, That’s Mine! by Maryam Kashkoolinia, Looper by Eve Deroeck and Mélanie Tourneur, Lucy by Evert de Beijer, presented by their authors in person, and Eager by Allison Schulnik and Amélia & Duarte by Alice Guimarães and Mónica Santos.

The evening closes with a performance by the theatrical band Chishche Lishche at 10pm, Vinyl.
