Animafest Festival Council Announces Results of the Call for Festival Organizer and Artistic Director

At the session held on 13 March 2026, the Council of the World Festival of Animated Film – Animafest Zagreb decided on the selection of the Organizer and the Artistic Director for the period from 2027 to 2030.

After reviewing the documentation and program, the Festival Council composed of Margit Antauer (President), Nikica Gilić, Iva Kraljević, Vesna Meštrić, Martina Meštrović, and Krešimir Zubčić, unanimously selected Hulahop d.o.o., which has been successfully organizing the festival since 2007, as the festival organizer for the next four-year period.

Five applications were submitted to the public call for the position of Artistic Director. After considering the submitted programs and candidates’ CVs, the Festival Council unanimously decided to appoint Ms. Kata Gugić as the Festival's Artistic Director for the next four-year period.
