Film in Hospital: European Film as Access, Distribution and Care

Film in Hospital is a pan-European initiative active in 12 countries that brings carefully selected European films to children and young people in hospitals and healthcare settings. The project highlights an important dimension of film distribution by reaching audiences often excluded from conventional circulation, while showing how access to culture can also be a form of care for the community. The presentation will introduce the project through examples from Croatia, Italy and Belgium, with a focus on screenings, workshops and digital tools.
