Tina Smrekar

Tina Smrekar is an animation producer focused on cutting-edge, author-driven animation with an analogue touch. She is the co-founder of and producer at Finta Film. The films she has produced have screened at major festivals, including Berlinale, Locarno Film Festival, and Sundance Film Festival, and have received more than 100 awards, including several festival Grand Prix prizes and a Jury Award at Annecy International Animation Film Festival. She also mentors emerging talent across media at the University of Nova Gorica School of Arts. She currently serves as president of the Slovenian Animated Film Association and is a supervisory board member of the Collecting Society of Authors, Performers, and Film Producers of Audiovisual Works of Slovenia (AIPA).
