David Lovrić

Student Film Competition

David Lovrić was born in 1986 in Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He grew up in Zagreb, where he earned a master’s degree in animated film and new media at the Academy of Fine Arts. During his studies, he published the comic album Godina gunđanja. His graduation project, the short film Breakdown, was screened in the student competition programs at international animation festivals, including Annecy. He is the author of the 10-minute film Holy Men, which won the award for best animated film at Canberra Short Film Festival. Besides animation, he is active in music projects Aegokk and DIVINE BUT FINE. He lives and works in Zagreb.
