Akshit Kumar, a storyteller from Patna, India, is in his final year at the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, majoring in Animation Filmmaking. With a passion for capturing the subtleties of everyday life, Akshit delves into the rich tapestry of human behavior and environments, translating these observations into compelling narratives on screen. His passion lies in experimental animation, where he constantly explore new techniques and push the boundaries of how animation can tell a story. ‘bonVoyage pour monVoyage’ is his first experimental animated short film which won Bronze at the Student Academy Awards 2024, making him the first Indian to win this award for an Indian production.
