Léo Brunel

Léo Brunel (1995) is a 3D director who specializes in visual comedy. Recognized internationally, he has been nominated for the Annie Awards, shortlisted for the Oscars, won the BAFTA Student Award for Best Animated Short and received a prize at the NYICFF. Trained at École des Nouvelles Images, he drew attention during his studies with the short film Voltige, then co-founded the Mega Computeur collective with friends. He later worked independently, further refining his directing, character work and rendering. His humor is sharp, playful and accessible, built as much on situation as on character work.
