Marta Gennari
Marta Gennari (1992) studied at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Turin. Her film Merlot won the 2018 Emile Award. She then went to La Poudrière school in Valence, where she directed Bigoudis (selected for Annecy, Clermont-Ferrand, etc.). She has worked as a director, storyboard artist and animator on many productions, and in 2021 she co-founded the collective Les Optimistes, which runs introductory workshops on animated film.
