The Discrete Shapes
A sample of an unknown life form is observed by a clinical eye through its many layers. As the loops that animate it unfold, the sample awakens, then bursts apart. The tiny particles contained within the life form organize and harmonize to give rise to a new creature.

Lou-Ann Nony is an animation film director based in Paris. She studied animation at the Cournon d'Auvergne and the Arts décoratifs (ENSAD) in Paris. In 2024, she was part of the Première Page program, and directed the short film The Man Who Laughs, based on Victor Hugo’s book.
