Among 2024 submitted films from 92 countries from across the world, World Festival of Animated Film - Animafest Zagreb is proud to present the official selection for the Grand Competition – Short Film, Student Film Competition and Croatian Film Competition categories of the 2025 edition of the festival.

Besides Animafest’s artistic director Daniel Šuljić, other members of the selection committee for the Grand Competition – Short Film and Croatian Film Competition were Sunčana Brkulj and Andrijana Ružić, while Antonia Begušić and Eugen Bilankov selected films in the Student Film Competition category.

More than 900 films were submitted for the Grand Competition – Short Film category alone and 45 of them were selected to be presented at the festival. From more than 1000 student submissions, 40 films were selected for the Student Film Competition, while the Croatian Film Competition will feature 24 films.

World Festival of Animated Film - Animafest Zagreb 2025 will take place 2-7 June 2025.
