Synopsis

Ribar i njegova žena žive sretno u svome skromnom domu. Jednoga dana u ribarevu mrežu zaplete se kornjača sa zlatnim oklopom. Kornjača moli ribara da je pusti te mu zauzvrat obeća ispunjenje svih želja. Ova dirljiva verzija klasične priče pokazuje kako lako pohlepa ovlada ljudima.

Celia Tisserant

After obtaining a DMA at the ESAAT, Célia Tisserant earned a place on the FCIL course proposed by the school, which gave her the opportunity to study animation in more depth, while gaining professional experience by working part-time at Films du Nord from 2016 to 2017. The additional year of study enabled her to work with Nicolas Liguori on his film The Wind in the Reeds, before developing and directing her first short film, The Golden Tortoise, co-directed with Célia Tocco. In addition to co-directing the film, she got involved with the management and organizational side of film production, while also contributing to the animation work.

Celia Tocco

Célia Tocco studied animation at the Institut Sainte Geneviève (Paris), before completing a one-year FCIL course at the ESAAT (Roubaix). Together with Célia Tisserant, she made her first short film, The Golden Tortoise, based on a scenario written by Arnaud Demuynck.
