On Tuesday – A Q&A with Servais and Unveiling the Secrets of Croatian Animation with Bendazzi

On Tuesday, audience can pick and choose from quite a rich festival offer in all the cinemas, including the films by Raoul Servais at Europa at 15.30, followed by a Q&A session.

Also, the Contemporary Animation Symposium Scanner III begins. In these two days it will gather the leading filmmakers and scholars. Among other things, tomorrow the winner of ASIFA’s Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Art of Animation, Giannalberto Bendazzi, is having, as he promises, a shocking lecture at the Zagreb Dance Centre, 12.50, and revealing the unknown facts about Croatian animation and the Academy Awards.

Following yesterday’s opening at Schira Gallery, at 11 ULUPUH Gallery is opening the second part of the exhibition of works by students at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne – KHM. Between 17.00 and 19.00 Oktogon is hosting the experimental interactive installation PIEdeck, making it possible for participants the create animation in virtual reality.

At 18.00 Europa cinema is screenings the feature film Sabogal, a thriller set in a weird visual universe, and at 22.00 another, also feature, Japanese anime The Empire of Corpses.
