Synopsis
The abstract animation consisting of countless original risograph prints, is an under-the-camera, straight-ahead animation improvised to the rhythm of the scores of Hungarian jazz trumpeter Barabás Lőrinc.
Tamás Patrovits is an animated film director, graphic artist, and art teacher. He finished his studies at the Hungarian University of Arts and Design (now Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design) in 1994, at the Faculty of animation and video. During his career, Tamás has made experimental animation shorts, television series and commercials, hand-drawn and 2D computer animations. Since 1995, he has been teaching animation and creative design thinking. He was the founder of ASIFA Hungary in 2005. In 2012, together with Anna Ida Orosz, he founded Primanima World Festival of First Animations, and has been the creative and festival director of the event ever since. He is also the founder and director of BABtér.
