Synopsis


After digging a tunnel on the beach, two kids from different sides of the world meet each other. Together, they dig their way to the North Pole, where they discover a magical way to go back home.

Annechien Strouven


Born in 1993 in Belgium, Annechien Strouven is an artist, designer, animator, and film director. She studied audiovisual arts and animation film at KASK Gent and MAD-Faculty Genk (Belgium). In her work, she creates her own dreamy atmospheres and fascinating fictional worlds. Her illustrations and animations are primarily based on her own life experiences, but with a touch of absurdity. As an animator, she has worked on the international animated feature films La Sirene and Parfum d'Irak, as well as numerous short films such as Spin & Ella, Mozaiek and Carousel.
