Synopsis

Midnight Student wants to charm a special lady called Moon Orchid, but his physique fails to impress her. Eager to improve his situation, he visits a miracle doctor. Inspired by ancient Chinese erotic literature, this absurdist and allegorical story serves as a comical mirror to our modern vanities.

Kaspar Jancis

Kaspar Jancis is an Estonian animation director and artist, as well as a musician, composer, scenographer, and lyricist. From an early age, he became interested in comics and writing. He has been a creative member of many rock groups. He studied filmmaking at Tallinn University and at Turku Arts and Media School (Finland). Over the years, he has directed a number of animated films using drawn animation or puppet stop-motion techniques, and his films have received numerous awards at international film festivals.
