Synopsis
A theatre has two lives. One is formed by empty auditoriums and numerous preparations. The other starts with ticket sales and reaches its climax during various performances and the final bow of the performers.
Nika Ševerdija is a graduate student of animation at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, where she has obtained her bachelor’s degree in animated film and new media. Life of a Theatre is her first animated film. Her two poster designs were shortlisted in the Animayo 2024 festival poster competition. She has exhibited works in group exhibitions such as ALU Perspectives (2024, Croatian Association of Artists) and Our Contemporaries (2023, Matica Hrvatska).
