Synopsis
Judy is fascinated by the new toy gun commercial, but when she stumbles upon her parents’ real firearm, things take a dangerous turn.
Hello! My name is Marie-Hélène. I’ve been fascinated with dolls and miniatures ever since I was little. In high school, I created my first miniature set and puppet, which led to my first stop-motion short film. That experience sparked my love for animation and artisanal hand-crafted work and inspired me to study stop-motion animation at RITCS in Belgium. Since then, I’ve had the chance to work on some incredible projects, such as The Miracle by Nienke Deutz and On the Wings of Hermes by Jaco van Dormael. My journey blends technical skill with a deep commitment to the art of stop-motion. This dedication is especially visible in my recent film, JUDY1964, a single-shot piece that highlights my attention to detail and craftsmanship..
