Synopsis
On a bookshelf, two mice are having a heated discussion about the purpose of books. One is an intellectual that advocates spiritual and intellectual value of literature. The other is a glutton and only sees books as a tasty snack.
Ada-Nela Peharda is a graduate student of animation at the Academy of fine Arts in Zagreb. Of Mice and Books is both her second student film and her second overall. Her first one, Fish I (2024), has been screened at numerous festivals around the world. She also collaborated on the award-winning animated music video Wolves (2021).
