Synopsis

Siege has been announced in a town. Preparations against the enemy are in progress. The enemy doesn’t show up. The authorities find someone to blame for failures. He hides, ashamed. The authorities decide to fire a cannon at the enemy. A missing cannon ball is found. Cannon fire destroys the town, but demons stay awake. Pastiche of authoritarian power. A primeval story about giving up the individualism in the interest of defending so-called values. A film by Sławek Zalewski, based on a story by Sławomir Mrożek.
