Synopsis
Everybody faces the issue of self-realization at some point in their life. In a cruel world of bureaucracy and industrialization, there is a pressure to climb the ladder of success. The artist’s struggle to strike a balance between the desires of a potential buyer and their own true passion easily leads down a wrong path. However, sometimes a silly accident can shatter our need to “fit in” and open the door to a beautiful world of colours.
Olga Okolelova was born in Moscow where she pursued an education in fine arts. In 2014, she went to Montreal, where she studied Film Animation at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema, Concordia University. She made When Pigs Fly (2016, co-dir. Karolina Kossut).
