Synopsis


A badger is lying motionless on a local road. A police patrol approaches the body in the dark. They soon realise that the animal is not dead; the badger is dead drunk! When the police attempt to drag the creature off the road, he wakes up and things take a strange turn.

Špela Čadež


Špela Čadež (1977, Ljubljana), after graduating in design from the Academy of Fine Arts (2002) in Ljubljana, continued her studies at the Academy of Media Arts, Cologne, Department of Media Design. During her studies she made two animated puppet films, Zasukanec (Mate to Measure) and Liebeskrank (Lovesick), which have been screened at over a hundred festivals all over the world and won more than 30 awards. Since 2008 Špela Čadež works in Slovenia as an independent animation film director and producer. Her animated film Boles (2013) screened at many festivals and won over 50 awards and honours, including a Cartoon d’Or nomination.
