Vassilis Kroustallis is a Greek animation journalist and scholar. Ηis classical studies in Greece and UK were supplemented by a Postgraduate Certificate in Film Journalism from University of Glasgow, UK. His research activities include articles in scholarly film journals (Jewish Film and New Media, Journal of Greek Media and Culture). Since 2011, he is the Head Editor of Zippy Frames (www.zippyframes.com), an animation website which focuses on European and independent animation, with a comprehensive coverage of animation festivals. He is co-founder and artistic director of the international Be there! Corfu Animation Festival in Greece, which celebrates its 5th edition in October 2015.
