Born in Warsaw and grew up in Southern Germany, Wiktoria Pelzer lives, works and (still) studies in Vienna. Since 2005 she has been working for (short) film festivals in Europe like the Stuttgart Filmwinter, Hamburg International Short Film Festival, Oberhausen, and currently she is focusing on the Crossing Europe Film Festival in Linz and the Animation Avant-garde programmes at the VIS Vienna Independent Shorts. She is a co-curator for art film screenings at the fullframe festival and constantly develops new ideas for film and media events, always curious about animation, experimental film, music video and all there is in between. During the year she was also working at the Gartenbaukino, Vienna’s largest independent cinema. Besides, she is busy as a free curator, organiser, programme and print coordinator. She loves film, rhythm, music and dance.
