Synopsis
In honor of cinema‘s one-hundredth birthday, Pärn newly wrote the biography of the Lumière brothers. Unknown details from their lives are treated here in such an unreal way that the invention of cinematograph itself appears questionable to us. Did this invention ever even take place, and if it did, has it enriched our existence or poisoned it? An illusionary-disillusioning film about an illusory medium.
