Synopsis

A little stop-motion puppet leaves his studio and explores the outside world. He experiences the vast, dynamic, and unpredictable world of nature through a lens of a stop-motion puppet.

Rika Nakayama

Rika Nakayama is an experimental and stop-motion animator from Japan. She received a BFA in Illustration and Film/Animation/Video from Rhode Island School of Design in 2021 and currently studies MFA Experimental Animation at California Institute of the Arts. Inspired by beauty of natural phenomena and sensory experiences, her works combine various traditional and digital media to create surreal, dream-like worlds and explore the boundaries of animation media.
