Synopsis

The birth of form is the birth of the world. From our early childhood to our last breath, we as humans learn about the world around us and try to find our place in it. One African mask can reveal a whole spectrum of human culture, its origins and the transformation that takes place to produce the art that decorates the museums of the world.

Ekaterina Ogorodnikova

Ekaterina was born in Russia. She is an artist and an independent director of animation films. She graduated from St. Petersburg State Academy of Arts, Department of Monumental and Decorative Art. She created many different monumental works in Russia and other countries. She attended classes for directing and animating at GIKIT cinema university in St. Petersburg. She made her debut animated film Love Pray Fight (2016) for the exhibition of Indian art in Brussels, Belgium. She founded the animation studio DAR for her youngest son and that was an inspiration for his films.
