Although Croatian animated film has been constantly present and rewarded for many decades in the international scene, for the national authors of all generations, participation at Animafest has always been the highlight of the year - the joy of „putting themselves to test” to the refined Zagreb audience and colleagues, as well as the honour of being selected by one of the most prestigious festivals in the world. In 2019, we will see the best works of lively and playful Croatian animation production. Croatian Competition, the most powerful competition of animated film in the country, screens 20 works.
