Synopsis

Fragile porcelain animals live amidst the lush nature of a rainforest. Strange white creatures are born in wild river streams, birds with feet like human fingers hunt for flying fish, vicious spiders catch miniature dancers into their traps. The film was shot outdoors, so the changes of light create a strange shift between the passing of time and the movement of the characters.

Anu-Laura Tuttelberg

Anu-Laura Tuttelberg (1984) has an MA in animation from the Estonian Academy of Arts. Her thesis film, Fly Mill (2012), has garnered over 20 awards. Her second short film, On The Other Side Of The Woods (2014), premiered in Annecy and has won several awards at festivals so far.
