Synopsis

A solitary fox finds itself improvising fatherhood for a newly-hatched baby bird. Two paths cross and a family is formed, until fate reminds each of the life it is meant to lead.

Sam and Fred Guillaume

Sam and Fred Guillaume (1976, Fribourg) entered animation in 1998, making their first film, Le Petit Manchot qui voulait une glace. Excited by this first experience, brothers decided that animation would be their career, and made educational, short, commissioned films and commercials. From 2003 to 2007, they made their feature debut Max & Co, distributed in more than 20 countries and won the audience award in Annecy. Aside films, they collaborate on various theater projects and installations, work at the La Lanterne Magique children's club, organise seminars, workshops and conferences. They are interested in new technologies and develop tools and participate in research projects related to narration.
