Our Problems is a short animated film about the importance of everyday pleasures, difficulties and issues from the protagonist's point of view, and their relative immateriality compared to the WHOLE UNIVERSE. The greatest problem in the world is the greatest only in this world and no matter how big and important we think it is, the rest of the universe is oblivious of it. This animation, inspired by real-life events and characters from the author's surroundings, focuses on several characters and their tiny but at the same time most important problems.
Ivan Radović was born on 28 December 1990 in Zagreb (on the 95th birthday of film). After a degree in photography from the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb, he briefly worked as a photographer for a small website and at a cinema box office to get to know this side of cinema as well. In 2010 he moved to Split and started studying at the Department of Film and Video of the Arts Academy and soon became an active member of Split Film Club, where he got a chance to take part in a large number of film projects. In 2013 he obtained his BA degree and returned to Zagreb to take an MA course in animation at the Zagreb Academy of Fine Arts. He has exhibited at several new media group exhibitions and one solo exhibition of photographs.
