ANIMAFEST PRO | Lecture Chris Landreth - Making Faces

Lecture Chris Landreth, Karan Singh - Making Faces

Are you ready for your close-up? Animating your characters' faces requires more than great animation skills. You also need to be an actor, physician, psychologist and detective. Making Faces is an intensive class about animating a human face. You learn how to see a face and its features when a person talks, feels, and expresses. We cover anatomy and muscle behavior, and we explore what's really going on underneath a face when your character is showing emotion. We show examples of great facial acting, and the psychology behind this acting that makes human characters come alive.

You will learn: the features of facial expression, the psychology behind the expression, the anatomy behind the emotion, great facial acting and great facial animation.
