In the countryside, two butchers slaughter a pig. When he wakes up in his room, in his bed, he realises that it was just a dream. On his way to work he notices the butcher from his dream on the street. From that moment on, he is haunted by him.
Marko Dješka (1983, Osijek) as a student of animation at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb made a film Slaughtered (2010), to a significant critical acclaim and festival success. His graduation film Son of Satan (2012), has, like Slaughtered, won the Audience Award at the Festival of Croatian Animation in Zagreb. After graduation he has been working as an illustrator, animator and storyboard artist. He takes part in international seminars on the development and production of animated TV projects. An artist-in-residence at the Open Workshop in Viborg (Denmark), where he developed his creative projects. Apart from animation, he is an active comic book artist, published in a series of magazines in Croatia and abroad. In 2013 he published his first comic book album.
