Synopsis

A poor man sends his three sons to work as servants, in order to attain nice clothes, wine and a wife. The faith of the smallest boy, Martin, is the hardest, as he performs his task on a toad, but after all his award will be the nicest possible. The toad was in fact a transfigured princess, and Martin thus becomes a king.
