Animafest and Croatian animation in Belgium

'Classics from the Zagreb School' and 'The Young Croatian Generation'. Both programs were curated by Animafest Artistic Director Krešimir Zimonić.

Program 'Classics from the Zagreb School' comprised: Samac/Alone by Vatroslav Mimica, Inspektor se vraca kuci/ The Inspector Returned Home by Vatroslav Mimica, Surogat /Erzatz by Dušan Vukotić , Peti /The Fifth One by Pavao Štalter and Zlatko Grgić, Znatizelja /Curiosity by Borivoj Dovniković Bordo, Macka /The Cat by Zlatko Bourek, Dnevnik /Diary by Nedeljko Dragić, Album by Kresimir Zimonic, Kolac / The Cake by Danijel Šuljić, Svaki je dan za sebe, svizajedno nikad / Everyday for Itself, Never Together by Goran Trbuljak and Teorija odraza / Theory of Reflection by Darko Bakliža.
'The Young Croatian Generation' was presented with the following works: Women on Bord by Vjekoslav Zivkovic , Silencium by Marko Mestrovic and Davor Medjurecan, The Market by Ana Husman, The Train by Goran Stojnic, Alea iacta est by Dino Krpan, Unplugged by Stjepan Mihaljevic, Doctor Zodiac's fantastic odyssey by Matija Pisacic, Transoptic by Branko Farac and She who Measures by Veljko Popovic.

Animafest Artistic Director personally presented both programs to international audience and arranged the presentation of Anima festival and Belgian animation at Animafest short film edition that will be held in 2010.

Morana by Simon Bogojevic Narath and She Who Measures by Veljko Popović were screened in the official Anima Competition Program.
