ANIMAFEST 2011 ANNOUNCES ENTIRE PROGRAMME!
05/17/2011

After informing the public about the films from GRAND COMPETITION, WORLD PANORAMA and CINEMA FOR THE EAR, this time we present the rest of the programme.

SPECIAL SCREENINGS will present three film titles: THE ILLUSIONIST by Sylvain Chomet, CORALINE by Henry Selick, and THE SIMPSONS by David Silverman.

The retrospective programme is dedicated to the films by this year’s jury member and 2002 Lifetime Achievement Award winner – PAUL DRIESSEN. This programme will screen 13 films by this great world-acclaimed animator.

ANIMAFEST FOR KIDS – a special children’s programme of untitled short films intended for the youngest Animafest fans, composed in collaboration with Ljubljana’s animated film festival Animateka. Animafest will also screen the serial ANIMATED MINDS (2003) – short films directed by Andy Glynne that try to depict experiences of people suffering from different mental difficulties.

CARTOON D’OR is a prestigious exclusively European award for short animated film.
