Synopsis

Qiao-Yu, a volunteer worker, keeps a watch over a bridge on the Yangtze River in China, a notorious suicide spot.

Hefang Wei

Hefang Wei Born (1983) graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts of Sichuan in China with a degree in Communication. She went on to study photography at the Institute of Fine Arts in Cherbourg, in France. After a diverse career, she decided to study at La Poudrière, the French animation direction school, where she directed Chant de klaxons (2009), A moi! (2010, commissioned for the Canal J Television channel) and Chroniques du pont, her graduation film.
