Synopsis

Stinky is born from a flower in the middle of The Dark Forest. He explores it, growing in the process. When faced with the responsibility of caring for another creature, he comes to terms with the fact that there is more to the forest than just fun and whimsy.

Sunčana Brkulj

Sunčana Brkulj was born in 1997 in Zadar, Croatia. In 2016 she enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Zagreb, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in 2019, and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts (MA) degree in animation. Sunčana has worked on several animation projects as lead animator or assistant animator. She created her debut animated short, The Sensitive Prince, in 2018, and the film has since been accepted to several different festivals. Most notably, Pula Film Festival. Besides animation, Sunčana does work in the field of illustration and comics, and has exhibited works at several solo and group exhibitions.
