Synopsis

When we hear about the number of dead people on the radio every day, when the health system no longer functions, and when everything calms down. A new world grows inside our homes, a new form of communication takes place, and joy and inspiration take on a new shape. An animated film made as a by-product of COVID during a ten-day isolation.

Laura Martinović

Laura Martinović (1993, Zagreb) holds an MA in graphic arts from the Academy of Fine Arts, which she obtained in September 2017 under professor Svjetlan Junaković. She spent a semester at the Ulster University in Belfast, illustration and photography, in 2015. After her degree, she spent a year living and studying in Barcelona, where she apprenticed at the Metafora art school as an illustrator and animator, also completing an introductory course in art therapy. She actively pursues experimental and 2D animation, used in combination with collage and drawing. Since October 2019 she works with Adriatic Animation Studio as a director and animator.
