Love, religion, death, sex... These are some of the vital worries and thoughts that used to concern the director of Manhattanand that still concern the Woody of today. A neurotic and brilliant author, now and before. A genius who can actually have only one interlocutor: himself.

Jaume Carrió

Jaume Carrió (Esporles, Mallorca, 1983), graduated in Audiovisual Communication, and is a producer and filmmaker. He won the Art Jove award in 2009 with the short film Caragol treu banya (2009), which brought him early professional recognition. That year, he started working in Cinètica Produccions, where he collaborated on many documentaries as a producer, co-director and film editor. Nowadays, he combines his work as a professor of filmmaking with the work of his production company Tomavistes. His most recent directorial works are the short film Chat vol dir moix (2016) and the animated short Woody & Woody (2017). Currently, he is working on a new short, Hostal Orión.
