The 25th World Festival of Animated Film – Animafest Zagreb opens on Tuesday, 9 June at 19.30, Europa Cinema

The soft grassy lawn of Zagreb’s central park Zrinjevac has proven on Saturday to be a perfect backdrop for a family cinema picnic, i.e. Animaefst’s journey out of the movie theatre to an open-air screening.

In addition to 300 finest films for all age groups, animation at this year’s Animafest comes in the form of video games, performances, exhibitions, lectures, concerts, outdoor picnics, even a Mad Hatter party!

The World Festival of Animated Film Animafest Zagreb this year decided to get out of the theatres and occupy Zrinjevac, where two feature screenings are scheduled to take place, next to a family picnic and workshops.
