Synopsis


Malaika lives in Europe, Pombalo in Africa. She collects stranded goods, he is a fisherman. As the nets remain empty, he sets off to Europe. At the shore, they face each other as the ships passing in the night.

Elisabeth Zwimpfer was born 1981 in Basel, Switzerland. 2011–2015 studies Illustration and Animation at School of Arts Kassel, Germany, 2007–2011 studies Graphic Design and Fine Arts at Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg, Germany, 2005–2007 studies Art History and Social Anthropology at University of Berne, Switzerland, 2005–2006 works as Graphic Designer in Berne, Switzerland. From 2002 to 2005 she takes education in Graphic Design at School of Design in Basel, and in 2002 internship in a Day Care Center in Basel. From 2000 to 2001 she is in Preparation Course at School of Design in Basel.
