Synopsis

Apple and Onion are the odd ones out in a city full of sophisticated, manufactured foods. They don’t know much about modern adult life, or the rules and norms of society, but that’s not going to stop them from having a great time.

George Gendi pitched Apple & Onion to Cartoon Network in 2011 after working as a board artist on Season 1 of The Amazing World of Gumball. Since then he has been working on its development whilst boarding on other shows and leading animation workshops.
