Animafest 2014 ends in Zagreb and 16 Croatian towns where it spread thanks to the project ‘Animafest in Independent Cinemas – Let’s Go to the Movies!’, in association with the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, but it is just about to begin in another city eagerly awaiting at after Zagreb. Animafest in Rijeka opens on 13 June at 8pm with the Best of Animafest, and the Rijeka audience will also have a chance to see the Family Programme (Saturday, 14 June at 11am), Pirates! Band of Misfits (Saturday, 14 June at 5pm and Sunday, 15 June at 5pm), Films for Children Competition (Sunday, 15 June at 11am), Puppet Masters (Sunday, 15 June at 7pm), Cinema for the Ear (Sunday, 15 June at 9pm), McLaren’s classics (Monday, 16 June at 7pm) and Cartoon d’Or (Monday, 16 June at 9pm).
