Synopsis

Su San’s occupation is teaching calligraphy. When not in class, he spends his spare time writing. The butcher, Mr. Yang, intends to marry his daughter to Su San... After establishing his own family, Su San’s life changes. When seeking peace and quiet, after writing, he often entrances himself by gazing at the flotsam in the river... Day after day, year after year, life is tranquil.
