Synopsis

With his family in the cottage, an old man withdraws for a moment by the edge of the river for a cigarette. Old memories come back to him: he came here with a girl when he was 13 years old. He wanted to become a man, she only wanted to share a difficult secret. Nobody gets what he wants.

Joël Vaudreuil

In parallel with the creation of several music videos, he directed several short animated films. He developed his unique style and his caustic humour throughout his creations. A musician and member of the country-folk band Avec pas d’casque, Joël Vaudreuil is also an illustrator and a multidisciplinary artist resolutely independent. He has directed L’enfant aux 6 hot-dogs (2011), Un vortex dans face (2010), La récréation du midi (2009) and L'émule minable (2007).
