Synopsis

7 year old Mia tries to liberate her overworked mother from the grasp of an overpopulated metropolis. In her quest, she unlocks the hidden secrets that make the world turn.

Wouter Bongaerts

Wouter Bongaerts made his first animated short Mouse for sale in 2010 as a graduation film at the Media and Design Academy in Genk, Belgium. The film has been screened throughout the world at dozens of international film festivals from New York to Seoul and won several prizes in Canada, France and Belgium, including the VAF Wildcard for Animation, giving Wouter the budget to create his first animated short, Mia.
