Mike Robinson graduated at Lancaster University. He has worked as a theatre manager and producer and for almost ten years he managed the British animation studio Cosgrove Hall, producing BAFTA and Emmy awarded films. In 1992 he founded an animation consultancy company, specialising in project and co-production management. He has worked with broadcasters, distributers, producers and investors. He is one of the founders of the British Animation Training Scheme (BATS), a chairperson for Cartoon Forum and Cartoon Movie, and conducts different seminars and workshops related to business aspects of animation production across Europe.
