Synopsis
Leaves are falling all around, colder winds are arriving and birds are gathering together in preparation for the journey south. Though autumn is at the end and winter is imminent one bird refuses to accept that this change is happening.
Falk Schuster lives and works in Halle (Saale). His film Die Weite suchen was awarded the main prize at the Filmfest Dresden in 2016, as well as the ARD Programme Award for Documentary Film in 2018. Since 2014, he has held teaching positions at the Kunsthochschule Halle and the HFF Munich and has been a professor for animated film at the University of Applied Sciences in Wismar since 2022.
