Synopsis


A lonesome xylophone player finds a viciously growing tumor under his arm. In his attempts to get rid of the tumor he discovers that it has some unconventional qualities.

Pinja Partanen


Pinja Partanen (1984) was studying at the Animation Department of Arts Academy at the Turku University of Applied Sciences when she directed "Benigni", her first stop-motion animation.  

 

Elli Vuorinen


Elli Vuorinen graduated from the animation department in Turku Arts Academy in 2011. Her school films Benigni (co-directed with Pinja Partanen and Jasmiini Ottelin in 2009) and The Tongueling have been widely noticed in the animation industry. Her third film Sock Skewer Street 8 (2013) started off as a graduation film but was finished in the prestigious Animation Artist in Residence Tokyo 2013. Sore Eyes for Infinity is Elli Vuorinen’s latest short film. It was produced by Pyjama Films animation studio that she co-founded and where she works as an animation director, animator and graphic designer.
